Background Information

Data available here consist of 12 hour averages calculated from raw data for the year 2000. Additional information is available on Dr. Tim Ehlinger's UWM home page. Measurements taken every 10 to 15 minutes were averaged into a single daytime value representing data collected from 6 am to 6 pm and a nighttime value for measurements taken from 6 pm the date of the measurement until 6 am the next day.

Stream Monitoring Data Selection

Select parameters to retrieve

All available data are selected by default. Click on a checkbox to clear the value if you don't want to include it in the search.

Note: To sort by a parameter other than by date and time below, the parameter must be checked here.

Depth of stream, meters
Water temperature, degrees Centigrade
Specific conductance, micro Siemens per meter (a general measure of dissolved minerals)
Oxygen saturation, percent
Dissolved Oxygen Concentration, milligrams per liter
pH (acid/base balance)
Turbidity, NTU (water clarity)

Select dates (optional)

Making no changes will retrieve all dates available. Type in different values to select a smaller range of dates to retrieve. Use the format MM/DD/YY. For instance, for November 3, 2000 enter 11/03/00 or for May 12, 2000 enter 05/12/00.

Data are averaged over 12 hour periods. Day values are averages of measurements taken between 6 am and 6 pm. Night values are averages from 6 pm until 6 am the next day. The default is to retrieve both day and night values.

Select sorting order (optional)

By default, the data retrieved will be sorted from the earliest dates to the most recent dates. To reverse this order, or to sort by another value, use the lists below.
